Western Canada - Days 4 and 5 : Train to Jasper and Mount Robson

in travel •  7 years ago

Hello Steemians!

One of the things I like of train travel is the landscapes you can find in the way. The train left Vancouver at 8:30 PM, it was already dark and we were still in the suburbs. Not very interesting for taking pictures at that moment but I knew the next day would be different.

I didn't sleep very well but I was ready for the sunrise and the nature: numerous lakes and waterfalls, and most interestingly the Mount Robson, the most prominent mountain of the Rocky Mountains and the highest one in Canada (4000 m). I was lucky to get a clean shot of the mountain even if I was on the train.

Even though the train arrived to Jasper the next day at 5:30 PM I hope you will be interested in doing this trip one day!

This post is amazing! I say it because of the pictures. Mount Robson, with its pines waterfall, looks breath-taking. So sorry your trip was so long...

Ill be reading you from now. If you have time you should check out my content, you might like it. @hql2016

Hola Juan,

Thanks for the comment and the following. You have to really enjoy time walking (instead of running) to appreciate a train trip, the landscapes are always unique ;-)...
I like your drawings. Following!
