Monte Carlo, Monaco

Don't get Monte Carlo and Monaco confused. These are not one and the same. Monte Carlo officially refers to an administrative area of the Principality of Monaco. Monaco is the world's second smallest country, right behind Vatican.

Monte Carlo is also Europe's elite gambling destination. The casino is Monaco's main tourist attraction and inside the casino building is an opera, ballet house, the headquarters of Ballets de Monte Carlo and Grand Theatre de Monte Carlo. What is really crazy though is that Monaco citizens are banned from entering the gaming rooms. In addition, it is illegal for them to gamble.

The casino has been featured in multiple movies, including the original 1953 Casino Royale, Golden Eye, Never say Never Again, and Once Upon a Crime.

Although this one is quite obvious... but this is where the Monaco Grand Prix is held... :)

The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most famous races in the world. Drivers race on the streets of Monaco, tackling its tight corners, narrow streets, and famous tunnel.

I definitely really liked Monte Carlo. Amazing and fascinating place, and it's very green too. Pretty much all the shops and places also have security, which makes the place always a safe place. Considering how many rich people there are, I would expect that. If you are passing by in Monaco, take the chance to check out Monte Carlo. It's not big or spectacular in the sense of doing a lot there. It's more of simply seeing the place and checking the casino out. That's pretty much it :)
