Skydiving experience video!!

in travel •  7 years ago

Hi Guys, the video of me skydiving in Aruba is from a few years ago, but I just joined steem today so... yeaaah, I couldn't have posted it sooner. My heart was pounding out of my chest up to the minute I had to Tee off for the dive...gotta say from my experience...speechless. There ain't no better exercise for letting go than jumping out of a plane ;)
And the guys who guided us that were awesome, something you definitely should do some day.

Wow, looks like quite an experience! I have a great fear of heights and I believe doing something like this conquers the fear. Once you jumped, after a few minutes, did you feel calm? If I had to jump there would be a high possibility of me having to be pushed out of the plane I would be so scared!

Glad to see you did it though! Looking forward to your future posts!

Welcome to Steemit!

Hey @andrewe :) . Thanks for your comment. Well, I gotta tell yah, once in the plane I kept thinking:" why am I doing this? To what end?" But, there was no going back because I knew that I was going to regret it. BUt after five seconds I was already calm because there was literally nothing I could do then just go with it.

If you're thinking about it, just do it my friend. It's hard to explain with words.
Let me know when you're going to 'up and go' Lol! I am already curious :)

Thanks and I will be checking out your posts.
Have a great day!

Hahahaha! Wow! This gives me hope for trying it if at least the nerves calm down once you jump from the plane! I will have to do this for a birthday or special occasion, and when I do, I'll let you know! When you hit the ground, even with the parachute, is the impact hard? I'm guessing there's a position you take before hitting the ground to protect your knees?

I'm already looking up places to do this close to London! I will be checking out your posts, too!

Have a great day, @iftesha!

Yoo @andrewe, just go for it my friend :)
The guys are there to guide you every step of the way, but the landing did give a me light ankle sprain though kkkkk, but hey, that was me not listening very well to the the instructor and all and all, the sprain was worth the jump :)

Let me know, experience the thrill hahahaha
