Re-checking out NYC's Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Landmarked by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Committee in February 2017, Cathedral of St. John the Divine is an amazing place to check out. Since I live near by, I would always pass by and would occasionally go in to see if there are any new exhibitions near the nave of the building. Yesterday, they were featuring sculptures of animals.

This pig reminded me of some Japanese Studio Ghibli anime featuring pigs and other animals. Probably like Spirited Away??

In addition, there were exhibitions on more modern sculptures / architecture like the following.

I love this place, because it's so grand and awe-inspiring, yet not touristy at all. An undervalued place to check out overall, I would say.
