I swear, on their own, I can eat 4 of these in one sitting. Slightly bigger than those found in Mark's and Spencer, they are still a lot less intake compared to a slice of cake.

The BEST pastéis de Nata in town
This was the place we were taken to by our walking tour guide in Lisbon last May. It's not the best known shop for this pastry in Lisbon, but to a local, IT IS THE BEST.
Who would say otherwise?
On entering the shop, the bakery is to the left side, separated by a glass wall.
Egg custard on the raw! Already creamy and delicious from where I was standing.

Apparently, the technique to get that perfect crust of the pastry was to thinly spread it before pouring the egg custard liquid.
Maybe? I can't bake so please ask @allasyummyfood😁

Limited with words, all I can say is that "savour each bite!" Chew slowly and enjoy the yumminess of each pastéis de nata.

I would have wanted to compare this to that of Belem but I couldn't be bothered. Seriously you guys, believe me, these are awesome!
@sjennon did say "they were effin delicious!!!" 🤣 Compared to those tiny ones during the registration in HF Lisboa. Apparently as I didn't try any.

Each box contains 6 pieces and goes in their cute company paper bag. Classy!
Newly bought, they were still warm to eat.
Although they say that they're still good within 48 hours, the pastry after 24 hours have lost its' crusty flakes and it became gummy to chew. The custard too tasted different.
My housemates didn't mind.
Direction:
With the Parque Eduardo behind you from Marquez de Pombal, walk straight along Liberdade Avenue to Rossio.
When you reach Hardrock Cafe to your left, the building after it have a lot shops in its' lower ground.
It can't be missed as it's the only one with the table and chairs at its' front.
