Day 2: adventure in Dorset

The kids decided to utilise the Park's pool today, so some of the adults wanted to go back to Durdle Door to hike. As it's my second time to be here, I offered to take them to Lulworth Cove, to the Eastern side from Durdle door.

When facing Durdle Door, to your left are steps to get you to this alcove. Following the shoreline to the east, with the white cliffs to your left, this will lead you to a couple of trails that lead to Lulworth Cove. Huge boulders of rocks can be seen from the shoreline from here that have fallen from the rocks above. It is not advisable to walk through these rocks as there was already an accident previously from falling rocks. Also, midway of the shoreline to Lulworth Cove is blocked from these boulders. You are then left to choose your trail upwards to the top of the cliffs, then a gentle walk at the top.

Back of Durdle Door facing West.

I planned for us to have our lunch here but it didn't push through, my friends got hungry mid-way. But anyway, our goal was to walk East. Though we were on top, we walked onwards with the sea on our right.

Enjoying the activities at the bottom?

Or the flora!

It's not a very long walk as you get to spend your time enjoying the scenery and exploring your surroundings, at a slow pace. Longer walks though are possible when just following the different trails zig-zagging along the cliffs.

Et Voila!!

Can I get you an ice cream? a cup of tea? Or perhaps a clam chowder?

Nota bene: another trail can take you straight back to the carpark from here, there's no need to go back to Durdle Door.

I see that it is difficult to reach, I do not know because the most beautiful places are in very hidden places. Good job success @immarojas
