Do I need to have lots of money to travel?

For most of us, money is the biggest issue that holds back every one of us from travelling.
Money will always be involved in every transactions that we entered into.
Well for me, you don't need to be rich, wealthy, affluent, well-to-do to travel not only here in Baguio but in other destinations as well.

Personally,I have had lots of travel plans that have not pushed through just for the reason of not having enough budget which is a very big misconception for me. Whenever me and my husband plans for travel or go on a vacation, we always do it on a budget. We just make everything memorable and amazing.

Will give you the simple Baguio vacation hacks that will make your stay be worth remembering and budget friendly.

Transient

We consider a transient house for our short vacation which is 2 days and 1 night. It is located near Minesview Park and was referred by one of my colleague. We rent it for only 1400 php for 2 days - 350 per head/night.480917_424290577598253_1156041549_n.jpg
The room is good for couple, actually it's like a small house with own CR and Kitchen - utensils are already provided so there's really no hassle on cooking.

Also the perks of the location is near to tourist spots, so I guess there's no need to take a cab or ride a jeep if you really wanna enjoy the ambiance of the place, but if you prefer for a ride - it's not even a problem since the fare is so very cheap.

-TOP 10 THINGS TO DO IN BAGUIO-

  1. Minesview Park

As you can see there a lots of souvenir shop at my back, kinda made the park sign a bit messy haha.

This place is good for selfie-addicts I guess, high views and cold weather is a perfect match.
Also tried strawberry taho and I can say that it's good - costing 30php.
Other expenses that we had here are souvenirs or "pasalubongs"- we spend 1500 php which is good for 10 people.

There's also photobooth for Igorot concept which costs 20 php per head for the costume and you can do unlimited shots.

A little ways down the road from Mines View Park is a gold mine of yummy organic Baguio delicacies: lengua, strawberry jam, ube halaya and angel cookies (a crunchy goodie that is surprisingly made from holy host),this side of the planet.
( Please note that the products are way expensive so if you are ready for emptied pockets then go haha, but the good thing about this is that the sales go to charity.)

3.Wright Park

It is right across the street from The Mansion. A promenade with a long and shallow pool. Brimming with horsy riders and joggers.

No expenses needed unless you want to try the Igorot costumes - 20 php only. All you need to do is to take pictures - the place is so awesome,it's very relaxing. I think I captured 400+ pictures only here haha, I really love the garden so much!
