What about a rooftop pool?

Thailand Day 1

When we finally arrived at our final destination we were totally exhausted! But, of course, also very excited. Are you too?
We landed in the capital city of Thailand - Bangkok. Firstly we had to go through the security check a the airport and then we can finally go on! The first recommendation is an exchange of your money (euros, dollars...) right at the airport. There is a small chance of being "robbed" by a ridiculous exchange rate. Still, check your amount immediately! The second recommendation is a buying of Thai sim card with internet data -this can save your life.

From the airport, we used the subway. It is the cheapest way how to get to the city centre and the station is located direct at the airport. Many backpackers stay somewhere near the Kao San Road which is the main tourist road. That means a lot of parties, noise and markets. We are not fans of this kind of accommodation. Again via booking.com, we got a huge bargain! Enormous apartment with bathtub, shower, living room, kitchen, bedroom, breakfast and the best thing ever was rooftop pool! That all cost about 200 dollars for 3 nights -at this price in Europe you get four bare walls. We live only once so let´s enjoy it.

I think that the plan for the first day was obvious. Laziness, sunbathing, swimming, enjoying the sunset, taking pictures and preparing for tomorrow's adventure - ancient city centre of Bangkok.

Thanks for comment :)) Yeah, rooftop pools are the best! And the best thing is that you can swim even at night because temperature is still high!
