In other words, I work where there is Wi-Fi and live out of a 75L backpack. Been doing this for almost 3 years now.
My office - and girlfriend. Don't mind the controller, it isn't ALL fun and games ;)
My travel choice is by train, as I've tackled a little over 25,000 miles on Amtrak since I adopted this life. My choice of lodging is hostels (yes, they're safe and exist in America) or AirBnBs. Over the past years I've been to and through all 48 continental states.
I left the plantation of serf slavery 4 years ago when I was medically retired from the military due to a back and skull injury. After 7 years in uniform - 2 of them in eastern Afghanistan - I wanted a change. There just wasn't fulfilment working as a dishwasher for $12/hour or going to university with a bunch of all-knowing but broke 19 year olds, even in such a beautiful region as Colorado Springs where I was living. Trigger pulling wasn't my calling, and at the time I had a wife that was against the idea of my returning to a warzone without the direct backing of the United States.
It hasn't been easy adopting this lifestyle, and there are many challenges that travel bloggers don't cover that I will make an attempt at. Budgeting/earning money on the road, how to secure safe and inexpensive lodging, dealing with road loneliness, how to meet new travelers, best and worst equipment, covering emergencies, my favorite cities, the best way to find and secure cheap eats, and my specialty - quality plates of food that cost under $2 to make. There will be some titty sprinkles of swing trading and options contracts advice, although I'm not an expert and you won't get rich by listening to me - it does beat throwing money into a savings account, which will be a post in the near future.

Moving slowly to this platform instead of Facebook, as the algorithms are getting out of hand.
Leaving you with one of my favorite pictures, the Cathedral-Basilica of Saint Louis in New Orleans. The oldest cathedral in America, and just a hop and skip away from the debauchery of Bourbon St.
