Hey guys I want to introduce you to my new mini series.
After finishing my exams of this semester I made vacations in France.
I decided to visit the beautiful Cote D'Azur in Southfrance in form of a road trip together with my girlfriend.
This region is just beautiful and astonishing with its mountains, seas, beautiful old villages, richness in flowers, cultural singularities and so on.

So I made some videos and pictures from my trip and I will give you some impressions of the single places which I visited.
I hope you enjoy this little series and I look forward to your feedback.

So just that you can imagine how big my trip was, I show you the change of the meleage of my car. ( We used my own car for this trip.)

So as you can see the whole trip took me 2533 kms.
And I am so thankful that we made the whole trip without a crash or a breakdown.
THANK YOU GOD!! :)

So I first stop was Lyon.
Of course Lyon does not belong to the Cote D'Azur but we decided to make a interim stop in Lyon because we would drive this route anyway and since Lyon is the second biggest country of France we decided to take the opportunity to visit this nice city as well.

So this was our first route.
We decided to to avoid the freeway and to take the route nationale through different villages for several reasons.

  1. We didn't want to pay money for the toll.
  2. We wanted to see as much as possible from this beautiful country and this was definitely the right decision. We saw outrageous places which we haven't seen if we used the highway.
  3. We had the time and we didn't want to rush anything but just enjoy the time.

My recommendation for you is definitely to avoid the freeways if you intent to visit this region by car.

So let's come to the city Lyon finally.

I loved those beautiful avenues in France.
On of those besides the Rhone.

The place which you've already seen in my thumbnail is called the ''Place Bellecour'' and is the biggest square of Lyon and the third biggest square of France.

This is the palace of justice of Lyon.
An impression building in my opinion.

For the end of this post a selfie.
In the background you can see the giant flower tree.

So I hope you enjoyed the entry of my little new series.
I would love you read your feedback. Doesn't matter if its positive or negative.
Have you ever been to Lyon and what's your own opinion about this city?
Just leave me a comment.

See you in my next post.

Wow, this makes me want to learn photography

It must be over 20 years that I have been there. I totally forget how far it is to drive there from Germany. We used to come from Berlin via Paris and then drive down to the coast. That was usually a 3-day trip.
