Aloha!
Yesterday, I finally got this lazy bum to the beach for some rest and relaxation. Of course, my very favorite spot to get some sun and a nice swim at a shallow rockwall lagoon is Magic island; at Ala Moana beach park. On the island of Oahu and its city of Honolulu, this beautiful beach park is across from Ala Moana shopping center and less than a quarter mile from Waikiki beach hustle and bustle.
As anyone who’ve vacation at or near Waikiki beach will know that it can be extremely crowded and loud, yet still extremely beautiful. However, right here at Magic Island, although I can clearly see Waikiki from here, it’s extremely quiet and peaceful. As I made my way to a little piece of paradise, here are a couple of my usual typical gorgeous views. I’ve also attach google map photo to help if you need more information.
From the parking lot, along a pathway, here’s a view of Waikiki from the Waikiki boat harbor to the end at Diamond Head crater. Of course, majority of those vacationed here on Oahu are here between these two sites...
A view of Waikiki and Diamond Head crater as I was walking to the lagoon....
Here I am at Magic Island lagoon. As you can see the water is clear, clean and shallow....
Here’s a google map if you need to do research for this exact place...
After a couple of hours soaking in the sun and swam in the cool and refreshing salt water, I feel completely rejuvenated and is ready for a delicious lunch!
Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed my afternoon rest and relaxation post. Please let me know if you have any questions or any suggestions I can make about your potential upcoming stay here in Honolulu, HI.
And as always, until we meet again, have a wonderful day.
Aloha!
