LAKSHADWEEP ISLANDS

Lakshadweep islands is the smallest union territory of India, has an area of 32 km Sq. Lying between 8 and 12 degree North latitudes and 71 and 74 Deg east longitudes. Lakshadweep was contributed as an union territory of India in 1956 where earlier the name was Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi islands.

Island is very beautiful and the important events that take place such as festivals celebrated in this island is Rifai shaikh and sayed mohammed Qasim. This is the famous festival celebrated in this island and celebrated in Ujra mosque a very famous mosque around the world. The death commemorations are celebrated on this island every year.

The island is cover with full of water at the boundary of it and there are some amazing best places to visit in this island are as follows:-

2) Kadamat

3)Minicoy

4) Banagram

All these famous place are very popular in Lakshadweep Island.

There are transportation facilities available at beach where the country boat do inter-island transportation. The lakshadweep administration has also acquires the self owned boat from the mainland to the island. The facilities also include helicopter to travel from the nearest land area to the sea area. The sea temperature and the land temperature is normally 31-33 degree at the day time and at night time it usually goes upto 27 degree which is common so no weather problem in island. We cannot visit in monsoon because there are some problems created in this island where the chances of flood and climatic problems can occur in such type of places.
