New Zealand

In 2011 we were so happy to be able to go to New Zealnd, my husbands brother is living there, and than you do not see eachother often. We decided to go with our kids, Jamie as a mantal handicaped could stay of school easy enough, but four my daughter it was that time or no time, because she just finished high school. So we went with the four of us. We started of in Auckland, we came in their summertime, the end of december, we really had ten days of horrendous rain ! it did not stop. We had good times but the wether was borring, mostly. After sight seeing a bit of auckland we went up to Pahia where the wether was nice and wher we stayed for 4 nights, it is a lovely little tourist town, on the see sight and it really feels like a tourist resort in the good way. My daughter and I went diving there , for her a bit problematic because she could not dive, her ears kept on acking so she had to stop. I used to dive in my youth years so for me it was more than fun. I loved it. On our way back to Auckland we did a different route en we drove past the second eldest tree on the world or something like that, its trunk is enourmous, it was so big and powerfull abslutely lovely, i did do a tree hugg there. :-) but you will not find a picture of it because i did not find any at my pc :-p i few pictures of the trip up to roturua dam.
