The Charles Bridge can be easily described with a single word: crowded.
Every time you stroll across this unmistakable landmark you find yourself attempting to dodge the endless amount of foot traffic by purely focusing on doing so. However, every once in a while you take a second to enjoy the world class scenery in the surrounding area.
This situation has a direct correlation to our lives at large. We constantly are focused on the future and attempting to get ahead, with the hopes that our destination will redeem the urgency and panic that disabled us from embracing the present found in the journey.
Instead of rushing to get to the other side, let us try to embrace the trek across life's plentiful bridges.
