Activities at Barcelo Maya

I love a destination where there is plenty to do. We have been to a theme park with a zip line, off-road vehicles and a go-kart race track, and a Michael Jackson concert with a very impressive impersonator. Tomorrow we are going on a crazy cave adventure.

So far everything has been no additional charge except the cave adventure. We were lucky to go to the theme park on opening night when it was free.

Here are pictures of some of the activities at the resort.

There’s also shuffleboard, ping pong, aerobics, yoga, Zumba, and tons of water sports. You can snorkel and paddle around in inflatables, of course, but you can also pay for bigger adventures like scuba diving, riding a giant raft pulled by a boat, and parasailing.

Seems like a recipe for being exhausted by the time your vacation is done, but you'll be jam-packed full of memories.

I know, right? This became abundantly clear to me yesterday as I was climbing millions of stairs to leap off ledges and sail over the jungle on zip lines, when I was still recovering from food poisoning. 😆
