This isn't something for the faint-hearted. You will have to hike up Cerro Negro, which will take you about an hour. Then the actual fun begins as you will slide or surf down the 728 meter high volcano in less than 3 minutes and the speed.. well it really depends on how fast you want to go!
Cerro Negro is located near the city of Leon in Nicaragua and is reached within a 50 minute drive. The 728 meter high volcano is still active! Don't worry though, it hasn't erupted since 1999 and its activity is monitored regularly. Our 4 wheel drive car will pick you up at your accommodation or a central pick up point and will take you to the volcano.
