The Galaxy Ghost Ship
Abandoned Cruise Ship on Koh Chang Island, Thailand
Last November I had the pleasure of visiting Koh Chang, Thailand after the fourth annual @steemfest extravaganza in Bangkok. It was an epic island with lots to see an enjoy. On one of the first days, @dylanhobalart, @louis88, @lizanomadsoul and I took a trip on our mopeds down to the south end of the island where we came across this abandoned cruise liner.
The Galaxy is a ghost ship that has been docked in an inlet on Koh Chang Island for years. It was originally brought to be a floating hotel, but it now sits closed up and abandoned. We walked around the outer decks of the ship. Signs on the door warned of fines and repercussions for trespassing. A guard stood nearby, so we didn't go in. Regardless, it was a cool find on the island.
