Yesterday I was walking in one of the districts in Istanbul called Kuzguncuk. Kuzguncuk is the place of Rum since the Ottoman Empire. Here, you can find beautiful and colorful houses, churches, and cozy cafes. Not just local people, international tourist come to this place as well. I often come with my friends for hunting photos and hanging out or just have a chit-chat on the beach since the place is also near to it.
While I was walking with my friend. We found an Armenian church right beside a mosque. It was quite something unusual for me. But my friend told me it was something normal in the Ottoman Empire. Moslem and Christians lived together in a peace. The mosque and the church is the symbol of it.
When I saw this, I really hope the world can be harmony like these two buildings. There will no hatred between religions. Everyone respects each other. How beautiful world can be!
At the end of the walk, we spend it by watching the sunset.
