Come Zip-Lining Through The Cambodian Jungle With Your Intrepid Jockey! 😉 🐎

Every now and then I need to do something fun that gets me offline and outside. If I just research and write about heavy topics that concern human slavery it becomes draining. But Adventure keeps me happy! ☀️

It is fortunate for me that I travel a lot and am normally somewhere close to the ocean and in the tropics! 😉

Recently I went to a zip lining park in Cambodia the name of which is La Oh Zip Line Park. It is run by some lovely people and worth a visit if any Steemians are passing by! ☀️

These photos are in no particular order because I don't want to spoil the adventure for those of you who might go to experience this mini adventure! 🐎

My brother @glampguru and I used to snowboard a lot. He still does but I am too tropical these days. I am sure he will recognize this old Burton snowboard.

Part of the zip lining course was to ride the snowboard along the line. It was like snowboarding on air if that makes any sense! 😉

Totally awesome!

The zip line course is set amongst the tropical trees with views of the ocean and islands.

When you are finished you can go for a swim in the warm water with the sunshine on your back!

The route was varied and odd. Not your normal style but just the way I like it!

I did the course around 1pm and it was very hot. I was sweating by the end and was super glad that there was an ice cold beer waiting for me at the end!

I have done zip line courses in several countries around the world. One of the best was flying like superman through a river gorge in New Zealand which was fast, freaky and awesome.

However what this course lacked in high speed adrenaline thrills it made up for in beauty, intelligence and problem solving.

With all of these kind of adventure activities the biggest aspect is safety! During the entire course I felt completely safe because of the safety systems the operators had put in place.

I felt TOTALLY safe and I would recommend anyone who can to do this. One of the owners talked me through the entire thing and waited with me while I completed the course. They enquired if I would be kind enough to write a review for them on Tripadvisor or FB. I told them I never use these platforms but I would be happy to write about it on Steemit.

I told them that although the visibility of Steemit may not be as much as something like Tripadvisor the people who would come because of Steemit would be AWESOME!

Steemians rock! 😀
