I saw this sign and had to make a post about it. It is so Malaysian!
Malaysian's love their newspapers and always have. Reading the newspaper is more prominent in Malaysia than anywhere else I have been in SE Asia and even Australia.
This sign saying: "NO FREE Reading" is classic Malaysia. People just drop by the shop, peruse the newspaper and put it back. The owners of this shop hate people "free reading" so much they even went to the effort of making a sign and placing it above the newspapers.
Brilliant if not a little lame! I am not sure if this is a reflection of the Malaysian public or the shop owners? 🤣
