MY EXCLUSIVE TOUR TO ALAGBADO MARKET, SHOPPING AND STORE IN NIGERIA

in travel •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hi there, today i took and exclusive tour to one of the oldest markets, in Alagbado, in Ogun state Nigeria.
The market has been in existence since 2002, and today has become probably the largest market in the ogun western part of Nigeria

it was a bit rainy, as i toured from store to store, learning new things .

The market is considered a JACK OF ALL TRADE, because every community necesary for the existence of humanity can be found here.

Come with me, the Nigerian market is synoynmous to clean and fresh food produce which seems to attract thousands of people to the historic market dominated by all kinds of tribe from yoruba to Igbo and Hausa

next i went to a stand where roasted plaintain is sold, in Nigeria, roasted plantain is eaten with groundnut, i had to ask the seller to reduce the price of the roasted plantain. Its a sweet and lovely dessert before a meal.

my love for fishes is so much, i went to the fish stand to take a look and ast for the prices, we do not have deep sea water in this part of Nigeria, so that is why fishes are expensive. This is Tilapia fish. My best of all fishes.

here is onions they are directly from the farm, and trust me its expensive here, i live with my family and i do the cooking, so here im i shopping.

PicsArt_11-04-07.42.43.jpg

here is the cow meat section, i love meat a whole lot. These guys are butchers and they sell after killing the cows im going in to buy.

PicsArt_11-04-07.44.30.jpg
