Cassie, como la llaman sus amigos, inició este viaje en el año 2015 y le tomó tan solo 18 meses y 26 días terminarlo, ¿parece un tiempo muy corto cierto? En efecto lo es y es por esto que Guinness World Records le ha entregado el título de “la primera mujer en completar este recorrido en menor tiempo”.

La americana originaria de Connecticut tiene tan solo 27 años y realizo este recorrido como una embajadora de la paz, es por esto que la mayor parte del viaje fue pagada por patrocinantes que apoyaban su causa, el costo aproximado del viaje fue de unos 200.000 $, pero la chica no tuvo que pagar ni la cuarta parte de esta gran suma. El mensaje que Cassandra espera dejarle a los jóvenes es que no pierdan la oportunidad de visitar lugares nuevos o hacer cosas diferentes por los prejuicios que hoy afectan a nuestra sociedad y los invita a viajar, conocer, explorar y a descubrir por si mismos todas las maravillas que nuestro mundo tiene para ofrecerles.
