Have you ever heard of a "vacation rental home"? Have you ever stayed in a vacation rental home, like an Airbnb or VRBO? Have you ever thought, WOW, I would love to own a vacation rental home? I am here to tell you that if that is a goal, you can achieve it. You can do anything you want in life, no matter how crazy people think you are.
Just to share a little about me and my experience. My husband and I have owned 4 single family vacation rental homes, 1 triplex and provided consulting for others to start a vacation rental business over the past 5 years. Some we own ourselves and some we have partnered with other investors for an equity share in the profits and ownership. Sole ownership is wonderful as you maintain total control, however, a partnership shares in the costs to start up.

We are not a big, fancy company, but a hands-on husband and wife couple that are still married after working together for the past 5 years. You know the old saying "You never forget your first Real Estate investment" and this house certainly brings back some good memories. Like when the neighbor who lived behind us would see me out working in the backyard and offer me sandwiches and bottles of cold water. We learned so much from this.
