For me practicality, weight and and size is how I determine what gear to take with me for travel. I also like to keep expenses as low as possible. Most cheap car rentals do not have navigation, this is normally not a problem since you can just use your smartphone. However, where do you keep your smartphone?
This is where this handy gadget comes in. Costing only 8 euros it is definitely more than worth it. You can attach it to any grill and the the arm can extend to fit any smartphone size. Is is easy and super small. When you are planning to use car rentals this little gadget is basically a must.

I have never seen such gadget. It looks very small. It looks like a U phone holder that we use on monopod or tripod. The difference is that you can attach this on the AC blower, while the U phone holder needs screw to attach it to monopod.

These are great. I have a similar one but it uses a magnet to attach the phone to the holder. The magnet attached to the inside of you protection case.
