One of the symbols of the city is the Ponte Vecchio, one of the most famous bridges in the world and the oldest in Florence.
The construction dates back to Roman times and has survived until our times, today you can find many shops that attracts the attention of the richest tourists.
At the center of the bridge there are two panoramic terraces on the Arno river.
The fashion of the padlocks has also affected the ancient bridge, thousands of lovers hang padlocks and then throw the keys into the river, as a symbol of their bond.
The custom started 20 years ago by the military of the Academy of San Giorgio alla Costa but today you pay a fine of 50 € so I advise you not to do so.

La costruzione risale ancora dai tempi dei romani ed e resistita fino ai nostri tempi, oggi puoi trovare tante botteghe che attrae l’attenzione dei turisti più ricchi.
Al centro del ponte ci sono due terrazze panoramiche sul fiume Arno.
La moda dei lucchetti ha colpito anche l’antico ponte, migliaia di innamorati appendono lucchetti e poi gettano le chiavi nel fiume, come simbolo del loro legame.
L’usanza e iniziata 20 anni fa dai militari dell’Accademia di San Giorgio alla Costa ma oggi si paga una multa di 50€ quindi vi consiglio di non farlo.
