Hello Mexico,
Back in January 2015, a few of my college friends and I took a trip to Cancun, Mexico. To be honest, I had no idea what to expect. I’ve never ever been outside of the country, I managed to pay $140 for my passport, and somehow had to tell my parents I was leaving the country with my boyfriend. It was surreal, even when I arrived in Mexico. Of course, we had the inclusive all you can eat/drink + hotel and flight for about a little under $1,000 per person.
When we first made it there, they greeted us with a bottle of tequila - now, you must remember that the legal drinking age there is 18 (but no worries for me, I was already 21). We stayed at this beautiful hotel with high ceilings, and they even had trains that took us everywhere we needed to go throughout the resort.
Things we did:
- Kanoeing
- Dancing all night at the resort’s club
- Scuba Diving
- XPLORE Cave swimming
- Drink - lots of drinking, actually.
- Fancy Dinners
- Snack Baaaaar
- And of course, celebrating Touly’s birthday.
I am sure we did many more things, hahah. I just forgot what.
Now here’s a few high light pictures of my trip.
