The following are a series of images I captured with my phone from a trip downtown the other night. I used the Prisma mobile app’s “Tokyo” filter on all of them, and was really pleased with the results.
For me these pictures capture the feel of Japan city life at dusk/evening better than the unedited photos in a way. The filter simplifies the impressions and renders images which remind me of popular animé and manga styles of depiction.

It really does give the impression of what the city would look and feel like in an anime about the city. I couldn't think of a better name for the filter.
