Greetings!

If you are planning on traveling or backpacking to Malaysia, you should put Genting Highlands on the list of places you should visit. Genting Highlands is located in Bentong, Pahang. And it is uphill, not only it gives you the relaxation that you need, but it gives you the breath taking view of the nature as well. What im sharing today is something that i experience it myself.

How to get there?

There are few options to go with, from renting a car to taking the bus. I took the bus to go there. By taking the bus you only have to pay, RM4.30 which you can take the bus from KL Sentral. Which is way cheaper than ranting a car or taking a taxi.

Where to stay?

There are 6 Hotels that are available in Genting. Which is Genting Grand Hotel, Maxims Hotel, Crockfords Hotel, Resort Hotel, Theme Park Hotel, and First World Hotel. In my case, I stayed in First World Hotel. It only cost less than RM 80.00. What i did was, booking my hotel from Trivago.

Where to go?

So there is few things that you can do there, from having fun at the theme park to shopping. As you're arriving you will see Genting Premium Outlets, and the best part is, you can do your shopping with offers impressive savings of 25% to 65%.

As you are making your way to getting by taking the Cable Car ( Which cost RM 8.00), you can make a pit stop at Chin Swee Temple. It is the most scenic site of Genting Highlands. Plus point, it cost you nothing to enter the place.

In my case, I couldn't enjoy the theme park just yet since it still in the upgrading process which take places until June, 2018.

And if you are feeling lucking, you can put your bet on the casino that are available.

On the side note: First World Hotel is the largest Hotel in the world. It serves you with such a futuristic look. And when you're visiting Genting, it is refreshing as it makes you appreciate the nature more and it is quite relaxing.
