The Pageant Of The White

Life is a rich pageant
These quartet make their walk
To the very familiar terrain
In the high walk to the wild

Their familiar purposeful strides
Four hooves each
Mothers, daughter and son
Walking, hopping,

jumping Like Disney princesses
The black 'princess' takes a dainty bold walk
Sure she has done this before
Head high, legs in a catwalk,
shoulders lifted.

If their choice be a balance
Between water and grass
On hilled-plained concrete
I doff my hat for their animalistic instinct
