Lewa Wildlife Conservancy was formed in 1995, it incorporates the Ngare Ndare forest covering over 62,000 acres (250 kilometers squared). It is the home of a wide variety of wildlife including the rare Black Rhino, Zebras and Sittungas. It also includes the big five.

Lewa Conservancy has the largest single population of Grevy Zebra in the World. It also holds over 12% of Kenyas Eastern black Rhinoceros population. The main attractions at Lewa are the big five (African Lion, African Elephant, Buffalo, African Leopard and the Rhinoceros),Grevy Zebra and the Black Rhino.

One last thing you cant afford to miss is the Elephant underpass which was specifically build to reduce human-wildlife conflict. There are various hotels located at the conservancy that you can book to enjoy amazing sites like Mt Kenya and also enjoy mountain climbing. Happy reading Community cheers.!
