Korean Friendship Bell

A favorite spot of mine to visit in Southern California is the Korean Friendship Bell in San Pedro.

South Korea donated the bell to the U.S. as a symbol of friendship between the two countries. It was also offered as a gift to honor the veterans from the Korean war.

The details in the architecture and painting are amazing but the real art is in the construction. I'm always fascinated when structure doesn't require any nails or screws.
