Pitamahal Dam Park is just about 20 kms away from Rourkela Station in Odisha. Its natural scenery is very beautiful. Very large pond surrounded by hills. One can witness a serene and noiseless environment far away from the city. Any taxi hired at the Rourkela Station will surely reach us in the destination. It's basically a Dam and a Nature Park as well. There is a separate place for sitting, but it is good to come back in the evening because the road conditions are not good.
This particular place is known for the picnic. If you plan to go to Rourkela then this place must be in your visit-list.
