January and February are the best travel dates to the US
At the moment United, Lufthansa, Airfrance, KLM and other Airlines are having a price battle from Europe to the US. I have flown this route for less than 200 Euro in the past but the offers at 250 to 280 Euros are very good. Depending on the Airline you might be able to upgrade your ticket so business class using miles.
If you need to go to the US now is the time to book your next year travels!
Europe - Miami
Check the booking class and mileage earnings
Before you book check out the mileage you will be earning on your flight. Some flights earn only 25% of the actual miles flown. Other give you 50-100% of the actual miles flown. If you get a 100% mileage ticket (for example with Airberlin) the miles are worth another 100 $ so you will be flying for 150 Euros.
