The east Hotel Hamburg is located in Hamburgs Red-light District
While searching for a Hotel in Hamburg the east Hotel Hamburg was the cheapest choice and I had to stay at a Design Hotel anyway (for a Starwood Hotels Promotion) so I booked the Hotel for 109 Euros.
I took the Underground Metro from the Main station to the Hotel and started walking and I suddenly realized that I was directly on the Kiez of St. Pauli (red-light district). That was a bit of a surprise ;)

The Hotel is stylish and for a young crowd
I opened my door and voila ...
A very nice room
Funky Mirror etc.
OH... I didn't know I had a bathtube for 10 they didn't tell me at check-in
Insane Shower with 2 Shower Heads...
Every Room has Bose Speakers
And amenities for women and men
Super stylish and cool hotel !
The east Hotel feels a lot like a W Hotel. The concept is similar you have a great bar in the lobby and the rooms are a bit out of the ordinary. The location is perfect it is 1 Minute from the Kiez of St. Pauli so if you want to go to a party this is the Hotel you want to stay. There were other Brands like Holiday Inn or Accor nearby too (might be cheaper).
