Beyond Meat
So after introducing Burgermeister and FiveGuys in Berlin, now comes the ultimate Veggies based burger. Newly opened Burger store Vedang at Mall of Berlin has a Beyond Burger
Beyond Meat is a super hyped company from the US selling plant based burgers. They IPOed a while ago and stock is trading 3x of the IPO price. I have to say that this burger patty is almost similar to normal beef. With the right sauces etc you wont be able to tell the difference

The restaurant looks awesome/futuristic and the burger looks like a normal burger. Glad to hear it tastes decent and might just be a viable option to beef. I’ll have to find one to try myself 😊

you'd be surprised. if there's a place where vegan food is a selling point, it's berlin. vegan food is so huge here that i've read more than a couple articles referring to the city as "the vegan capital of the world".

i finally went there and got to try beyond burger yesterday. i agree with you that it's pretty close to a beef burger especially when you add all the condiments and such. i really enjoyed it. although... maybe it's my american-sized belly, but i found it quite small... especially for the price. with "cheese" and "bacon" and small drink, it was almost 15 Euros.
There's another place here called vincent vegan that has them which i'll try next.
