A trip to Valldemossa

Most Mallorca visitors never leave the City but there is many beautiful spots you are able to explore within a short car drive. I went to Valldemossa on my last Mallorca trip and I can recommend this trip to anybody as the city is beautiful.

Valldemossa is a village and municipality on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is famous for one landmark: the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa, built at the beginning of the 14th century, when the mystic and philosopher Ramon Llull lived in this area of Majorca. Since the 19th century Valldemossa has been promoted internationally  as a place of outstanding beauty, largely as a result of the affection  of distinguished traveller and cultural writer, the Austrian Archduke Ludwig Salvator. Valldemossa is a very attractive tourist destination, as it shows  early Spanish culture. There are many shops and restaurants to indulge  in Spanish culture SOURCE

Rental Cars starts at 9$ in Mallorca... so get one!

You can buy many locally made things in the tourists shops

Main reason for me to visit this town the Real Cartuja de Valldemossa

There were so many little shops and cafes that I didn't make it in time to the Valldemossa Charterhouse so watch out for my next post ;)

Have you ever been to Valldemossa???
