Nowadays most people love to travel. There are less boundaries and everyone can near enough visit where they wish to. Which is great because it was very difficult for Russians to travel as recently as thirty years ago.
It is Moscow. The Red Square. Centuries ago red meant beautiful.
Some people prefer to sunbathe the sunshine at the seaside, others prefer to explore the cities and backpack across the world. To be honest, I used to think of myself as the former.
Seaside. The place where you can feel the harmony.
But my curiosity tempted me and now I am so happy because I’ve met so many interesting people and seen so many breathtakingly beautiful places.

Austria
Scotland
Russia
At first, I was scared to travel alone, but every trip changed me a little, it was teaching me new things. Travelling alone is great because you have all the time for yourself. You can plan your day, you can choose what places you will visit and which activities you may participate in. That is why I can’t fathom package tours as they also cost a fortune.
But the best of all, travelling allowed me to practice my English because there was no other way to communicate with people from other countries. Thanks to this I met my love of my life.
So, I encourage and wish for everybody to travel and to explore new places! You never know what joy awaits you!

I think you are right to about traveling alone. I have only gone solo traveling a couple of times. I felt free and happy. Nobody rushing me. My agenda. This is good.

Welcome, Victoria. Your photos are lovely. I've always been awed by the beautiful, colourful buildings that you have in Russia; I always say that some of them look like cakes.
There is certainly a lot of wonderful architecture in Europe, a lot of it centuries old. (Personally, I don't always find modern architecture quite as good, though some of it is nice.)
