Hello Steemians,
This post is about the Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The Tiger Temple, or Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua Yanasampanno, was a Buddhist temple founded in 1994 as a sanctuary for wild animals, among them Indochinese tigers (1).
I visited the temple in July 2008, and admittedly it was one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand. My only bitter regret was the fact that I didn't see the tiger cubs.
I know that these are wild animals, and that they should be living free, and not chained and restricted like this, but ...still it was great seeing them from so close.
And that's the end of this post. I hope you liked it, and that you will follow me to my next post.
Have a good day, and we'll speak again soon!
