AutoTravel to Georgia from St.-Petersburg, Russia. Part 1

Hello!
I want to tell you about our unforgettable trip to Georgia!
This was my longest journey by car, the total length of the route was about 7000 kilometers!

Our first stop was in the city of Kazbegi, which borders on Russia. Even when you are traveling along the border area along the mountain river Terek, you can observe the stunning mountain landscapes and the feeling that now a dragon will fly out from behind the clouds !!!

The city of Kazbegi is very small, but there is much to see and where to stay!
We stayed at a wonderful hostel, it was a budget accommodation, but comfortable and with very welcoming masters who helped to get comfortable and the next day fed a very tasty breakfast!

In general people in Georgia are very kind and sympathetic. What can I say, how they meet guests!

Trinity Church in Gergeti The most popular sights in Kazbegi and the visiting card of all Georgia. The temple is located high on the mountain near the village of Gergeti at an altitude of more than 2000 m above sea level. From here you can see unreal and breathtaking views of Kazbek and all the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

In the meadows graze sheep. By the way, the shepherd suggested that I sell my wife for a couple of sheep, but I had to refuse him :)

Then we went to Tbilisi.
