MY SUMMER PARADISE SIARGAO ISLAND

One of the most visited islands in the Philippines is Siargao island. Island hoppers will surely love the place as it is surrounded by open islands and islets. Fishing can never be missed. Mountaineers will enjoy mountain biking.

There are tons of activities can be made in Siargao island including snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, jet skiing, and relaxing in the hammock. This astounding tourist attraction is admittedly gifted in nature. In fact, more and more people from different parts of the world are lured to explore the beauties of this place.

☆How to Visit Siargao Island☆
There are approximately one hour and 45 minutes air travel from Manila to Siargao. From Cebu to Siargao, there is only 1-hour fly but the airlines have particularly three schedules: one schedule in the morning and two flights in the midday.

From my place Butuan city, it takes 5 hours to ride a bus-stop along 250 fares each person and 2-3 hours if the private vehicle. When arriving at the Surigao Port, we need to ride ferryboat. It is needed to be on the port about 4 am because the boat travels around 6 am to the General Luna Siargao. It takes 3 hours before arriving. The ferryboat is only until 12 in the afternoon.

☆Cloud Nine☆

When we arrive in General Luna, there are many options which spot to choose. If we love to surf, the famous Cloud-9 beach, the popular place in its tremendous surfing waves where the international and local surfers and celebrities visit along the way. The Surfing Siargao Cup International competition is made once a year that is most visited. In 1995, Cloud-9 was granted as one of the Ten Best Surf Trips of All Time. It is popular as the cheaper surfing spot in the world. The things that make the place comfortable are the restaurants, cafes, resorts, and the motor ride. Many people visit the place due to many surfers that gather from diverse countries.

☆Tiki Bungalows and Bar☆

To look for inns, Tiki Bungalows and Bar is between Cloud Nine and General Luna's little villages. It has many gorgeous beaches close to it. Tourists can decompress the services they offer.

Tiki Bungalows and Bar has relaxing and friendly guesthouse and WIFI in the public area. They also serve us bed and breakfast. Our anxieties are healed through relaxing their garden and undergoing massage service. We will not be worried if we have many unwashed clothes because they offer a laundry service. If we love golfing, the of course only takes 3
kilometers away. It also has a family room.

☆Isla Cabana☆

When we are stranded in General Luna going to the beaches we wanna have fun, Isla Cabana offers the best amenity but with an expensive price.

But the payment is worth it because we have everything we need.

If we look at an outdoor pool, we will be satisfied to unwind watching the blue shade in front of the sea.



We can also enjoy the bright sun on the terrace where we can view the Pacific ocean.

It has inclusive villas with WIFI accessibility.

After a long travel, we can relax by their massage treatment and spa. If we desire to explore many places but worried about the vehicle to use, they offer rental car and taxi service. Working out has never been the problem because we can exercise in their fitness center. If we love fishing, we can do the fishing. The golf course is only 3 kilometers away. We can also play billiards inside. The kitchens in suits are huge with the huge food menu. The staffs are accommodating and helpful. There are times that we love to eat barbecue, but no worries because they offer barbecue facilities. They have many services to offer from relaxation to sports to foods, money, laundry, and vehicles. One of their sports classes is the surfing lesson. If we wander outside, there is a free bottled water we can bring when we are thirsty. We will not also suffer our wet hair because they provide a hair dryer.

The most beautiful comfort I love is their wooden floor that looks very clean and eco-friendly.

If we don't like to expose ourselves wearing a bikini outside, the suit has an exclusive swimming pool and private beach. There is also a swimming pool for kids. If we love horseback riding, they also provide such enjoyment. If we are worried where we can change our USD money, they exchange any currencies.

Aside from air conditioning amenity, they also set the fireplace. If we bring many kids, they have also a playground for them.

☆Arka Hayahay☆

Arka Hayahay beach is a place to be if we look for a cheaper foods and comforting amenities. Its only wrong is their slow WIFI.


When loving a joy ride on a motorbike, they offer motorcycles to lease 500 pesos a day. They also render a motor driver for 20 pesos. It is the smaller resort so far.

☆Naked Island☆

Naked Island, however, is the only island in the place without trees and many objects. It has the cerulean spring along the 200 meters white seashore.

This island disappears when the tide is high. Its name is taken from being unshaded.

People who love to tan all day must love this paradise.

The naked island takes a few minutes away from General Luna. Before going there, don't choose the boat that offers a cheaper fare price because for sure it is a small boat that brings danger. It's better to pay expensive fare but safer. There, we can snorkel and swim. Be certain to bring your belongings and foods because the island has no establishments and single trees. Be sure to also bring medical kit.

Its sand is as fine as the pulvoron. We will surely enjoy island hopping too.

☆Magpupungko Island☆

Magpupungko island in Pilar is another paradisical place to explore.

Before going there, make sure you'll around 7-9 am in low tide to arrive.

From General Luna, rent a flagged vehicle going to Pilar. The fare is 1000 pesos. The ride is about 45 minutes before coming and there is 50 pesos parking fee. We can also use a rental van. The rock pools can be seen during the low tide. Remember to bring slippers and aqua shoes because the spring is enriched with sea urchins. Bring a dry bag for your belongings. Entrance fee is 50 pesos. If you are delayed to come back to your resort, don't worry because there are many grocery stores alongside. The shower is available for only 10 pesos. If you love snorkeling, bring snorkeling gear to enjoy more. The azure inlet has a restaurant alongside.

Magpupungko island has a crystal water. The pool is a little-opened cream that gives us the way to view the best sunrise.

Its the soundest version is its rocks as adornments that work the pool. It is a lagoon with caves.

We will have fun to jump from the high rocks and backflipping. The cliffs have scaled forms. It has 18 feet deepest level of water.

Just like any other beaches destinations in Siargao, Magpupungko is also enclosed by small beaneries with regional dishes. It is notably encompassed by coconut palms.
