There is nothing so revitalizing as spending time in conversation with people of like mind.

This is especially true when you're a voluntaryist anarchist. We get so used to interacting almost solely, on a day to day basis, with people who believe that institutional force is the best way to organize society. It grows tiresome, and you start to develop chronic stress that you're not even aware of, until you join with your voluntaryist friends and the stress just sloughs off and dissipates. I imagine it might be like being with speakers of your native language after months of struggling to communicate with speakers of another language. It's like coming home.

Puerto Escondido has contributed equally to my feeling of refreshment. This place is just absolutely gorgeous, muy tranquilo as Mexican folks say. Here are some of the best photos I've gotten during my time here, both of the scenery and the wonderful humans I've been privileged to spend my time with here.

My first morning here, the ladies who take care of our AirBnB came over to make an authentic Oaxacan breakfast for us. Here are some of our group gathered around the table, ready to dig in.

At the beach down the road, I watched this pelican hunt for fish. If you've never seen a pelican hunt before, you should!

Along with @layl, Amy, and Chris, I walked like five miles from the beach where we spent the day to this restuarant/bar in town where we met back up with @kieranpearson and @j3551c4. The walk was along a stone path by the coastline, and included a lot of stairs. Needless to say, my calves are SORE AF. But it was a beautiful walk, and we had a great time at the bar, as @layl and @kieranpearson's smiles can attest. Also the food was DELICIOSO!

This beach is just a short walk from our AirBnB. It has many craggy and distinguished looking rock formations that have taken on all kinds of interesting shapes from constant exposure to crashing waves and the salt and wind over the millennia.

If there's a keyhole in the rock, you must stand in it and have your picture taken with the wind blowing your hair. It's obligatory.
