I think is's about time I post some photos of my Birthplace, the city that bring me to life. The city that is not well known but it's most beautiful to me and many others. SZEKESFEHERVAR, did you ever hear about it? It is in Hungary and once it was the capital of Hungary many years ago. In fact it was the burial place for the kings... Today it's a modern city with a 1000+ years history. The must visit shopping and social district is at Fo Utca (Main Street)
The Orszagalma (The Apple of The Country) is found at the end of the Main Street.

Virag Ora (Flower Clock) was always there since I remember, they change the dates manually every day! in the flower garden.

The "Romkert" said to be the burial place of Stephen The King of Hungary but no official confirmation yet.
According to the legend if you touch the nose of Aunt Kati you will be rewarded with good luck. Just look how shiny her face. THIS PHOTO IS IN MEMORY OF MY MUM WHO PASSED AWAY SINCE.

If you go further out of the city you will find Bory Var (Bory Castle) which is privately owned but also a must see attraction and you can go inside for a fee.
