Top Hollywood and Oscar winning feature films and movies have been filmed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Such films like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and Star Trek Beyond took place in this wonderful city. In Mission Impossible, we see the famous Burj Khalifa Sky Scrapper, where Tom Cruise playing Ethan Hunt is seen mounting and climbing from the outside of this massive building. Other Top Actors such as Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov and Samuli Edelmann are in this film! They are currently filming the new Star Trek Beyond film with Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Boutella, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin and Idris Elba. With a new director: Justin Lin who is known for Fast and the Furious 4 - 7.
Flying over the city of Dubai with Seawings Seaplane Tours was an incredible experience. Wow, the city seems so big on the ground, but from the sky I could see it all!
The service was top notch from start to finish, and I loved every moment of it. Great staff, awesome pilot, priceless experience!
I took the tour with my sister Marina Bruno. Yes, THE Marina Bruno! She's my super-gorgeous-younger-sister-with-long-hair who makes sick movies/video. She acts, directs, produces, edits, storyboards, and ALL that jazz.
We drove from Abu Dhabi to Dubai the day of our Seawings Seaplane Tour, and the GPS took us right to the location. It was very easy to find.
The staff gave us a quick rundown on what to expect, safety precautions, and procedures. We then hopped on the buggy, which took us down to the beach, where our Seawings Seaplane and Pilot were waiting for us to board!
The flight was about 30-45 min, and we got to see all the hot spots! Burj Khalifa, Burj al Arab, the Palm Islands, The World Islands, Old Dubai, and New Dubai.
