Continuation of the story about the journey through the cities and villages in the Himalayas.

Only 130 km and we came to an amazing place. The ancient monastery of Lamayuru is one of the first monasteries of Ladakh
Founded in the 11th century by the famous mahasidha Naropa, after spending several years meditating in a cave.
Lamayuru is located near Srinagar almost on the border with Pakistan.
The oldest building in the monastery of Senggegang, at the southern end of the rock, its construction date back to the 10th century AD.
It's amazing how it was possible to build such structures so far in the mountains, in hard conditions. Here you almost do not feel India. This is almost Tibet.
We wandered around the neighborhood for several hours. Back in Leh came back late at night.
