Sometimes everything in the real world gets so overwhelming, I find myself yearning for some type of escape. Boston was mine. I know what you’re thinking, Boston? Really? A rowdy city is where you find your peace of mind? Well, when I say Boston I don’t mean the city, but the outskirts in the woodland areas.
I did a little researching and decided on planning a getaway. During my camping trip, I had no electricity, or Wi-Fi, or anything remotely modernized. It was a refresher, and I absolutely loved my two weeks of freedom from society.
With me during this adventure, I had a group of friends, which made the trip double the fun. As people say, it's not where you go, but who you're with. Overall, I'd say it was one of the greatest times of my life. I know not everybody has the chance to experience such bliss, but if there was one thing I'd recommend for everyone to do, it's to release themselves from civilization — even if it's only for a little while.
Because places where you can look up at night and see the stars rather than a foggy and polluted sky are the best type of places.
