Another Landmark
The Štefánik Observatory has been standing in the gardens of Laurenzi Hill since 1928, and it got its current shape after extensive reconstruction in the mid-70s of the 20th century.
The most interesting things the observatory has to offer are without a doubt the public observations of the day and night sky, the permanent astronomical exhibition and the guided tours with explanations of the observatory's equipment.
