[Hacks] 8 Effective Travel Hacks which you can never miss

This is my second post, as mentioned in my [Introduction](https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@lifecruiser/hey-steemians-new-kid-on-the-block) post that I would be writing about travel hacks, here it is for you.

People travel around the world, round the clock for some reason or the other.  Travelling was born along with the mankind, it has evolved as the civilizations evolved. There are plenty of benefits(which I will write in my next post) for taking up vacation/travel. If you are smart enough you can save your time, money and life with simple hacks. If you follow them, you will get great benefits.

I've listed 8 travel hacks before you leave for vacation which will be very effective for you.

1. Roll your clothes

While packing your clothes, roll them instead of folding in usual manner. This is one of the most effective and famous travel hack. Though, it is well-known I wanted bring it to the notice of others. This will save alot of space for you and it is easy to take them back as well.

2. Scan all your documents

Scan and store all your documents in your personal mobile, iPad etc. They will be very helpful in case if you miss and also you don't have to carry all your documents all the time along with you. That will serve as proof when you loose your mobile and want to claim it back. Your document address and other details will also help people to return your mobile(unless it is not stolen). Pro Tip: Take selfie from your mobile, it will also act as proof when you want to claim.

3. Stash your currency along with your travel items

Too much or too less of cash is a problem, take a decent amount of cash when you travel. Be aware of the expenses and also about the place. There are various ways you can safeguard your cash. Do not keep all the cash in same place. Stash them in different places. You can use any of your empty old deodarant bottle, shampoo bottle to stash your currency.

4. Keep all your power cords in an old sun glass case

Power cords always mess with other items in your bag. Keep all your phone/camera charging cables, headphone and other similar cables in an sun glass case. Definitely it will help you in managing your stuffs and keep your bag clean, simple.

5. Binder clip to protect the head of shaving razors

This is another useful and popular travel hack. This has been proven effective for many people. You can avoid cuts and bruises when you take shaving razors out of your bag. Imagine if you are travelling with kids and for some reason while searching for items in the bag they get hurt with the razor. Another good idea is to keep a separate toiletry kit.

6. Buttons to keep your earrings together

Use buttons to keep your earrings and their back together, it will be very easy to find them as well. You will save a lot of time while searching for other pair of earring. This is most effective and simple travel hack.

7. Tic tac box for storing pins

You would not want hair pins, safety pins and other pins to be scattered all over your bag. Store all the pins in a empty tic tac box, this is super useful and also saves your precious time and space. If you have never tried it then try it in your next vacation. There are many more advantages of empty tic tac boxes, use them for storing rubber bands, extra button, tablets, band aids, camera memory card etc.

8. Heavy shoes and coat

When you travel to the coldest place, you would need thick clothes especially heavy coat and shoes. That you be a constraint when you travel by air since it will add up to your luggage space and weight. So here is the hack, wear your heaviest shoes as well as your heaviest coat. You’ll save space and that coat doubles as a good pillow.
