The Belarusian state Museum of great Patriotic war history

The establishment of the Belarusian state Museum of great Patriotic war history in Minsk on the right is one of the largest buildings not only in Europe but around the globe. In addition is the first building that was created in the memory of the tragic events of military history of the twentieth century.

On a total area of fifteen thousand square meters, there are ten exhibition halls, telling about the pre-war days, the period of occupation and restore history of Belarus. By early autumn the collection had thousands of amazing instances and the seventh of November, the 44th Museum doors were opened in Minsk. The collections had been quite unusual. In 1966 specifically for the Museum was built the new facility, located on the Central square (October) of the city of Minsk. Eleven years later, the Museum acquired a new exhibition of military equipment and weapons under the open sky.

Historians continued their research and every year added new items of military history. Over time, the area expanded and was divided into four blocks, corresponding to the chronology of hostilities. There are special exhibition, which tells about the heroic deeds of the partisans of the Belarusian territory, she enjoys a special interest in humans.

Three thousand square metres, is located ten exhibition halls, which include twenty-eight unique collections. Here are collected about a hundred and fifty rare copies, which were collected during battles in Eastern Europe. Well, the most magnificent in the end of the path on the history of the great Patriotic war became the Hall of Victory. It's the glass dome of the Reichstag in Berlin, above it, our soldiers have set the flag of victory.

To list the entire collection of the Museum is simply unrealistic. This is a must see with your own eyes, because no words, text, video or photo will not be able to recreate this atmosphere.

Many historians of our time believe that the story of the war, presented in the form of Museum exhibitions, is not quite accurate. This is the perfect fragments from the pages of history, which reflect the atmosphere and spirit of the past, but they have gaps. How could anyone not considered, and majestic composition, which had been worked hundreds of people since the beginning of the war, deserves not only our attention but also respect.
