Travel Blog - Italy, Greece, Croatia & Turkey

I recently re-discovered my old travel blog, where I would document all of my vacations, including the following, which was my first ever trip overseas to Europe. I wanted to share these posts with you all, as a good portion of my content is travel-related, and it is very fun for me to reminisce on the trip that made me love traveling as much as I do today. Here was my first ever travel-related blog post, which was published on July 15, 2014;

"On July 31st, I will be leaving Los Angeles for 11 days, and traveling to Europe for the very first time. We will be going to Venice, and then on a European cruise, where we will explore 4 different destinations. It seems like I’ve been waiting for this vacation for months, but time has flown by and it is finally almost here. I am so grateful for this opportunity, and I can not wait to share it with my wonderful parents, and my sister Rachel. I can’t put into words how excited I am.

Here is our cruise itinerary:

I have set up this blog in order to document my trip. Not only am I doing this to keep my family and friends updated, but also so I can look back on this in the future and remember all of the wonderful things that I will be able to experience.

For now, my plan is to post on here every day while I’m in Europe. I’m still not sure of how often I will have internet access. Venice won’t be a problem, as there is free wifi in our hotel. The cruise will be the difficult part. There is wifi on board, and yes, I am aware of the cost. It will be expensive, but this is very important to me, so I plan on paying for as much wifi as I need in order to update this once a day. Finding the time to post may be difficult, as I’m sure we’ll be out and about every day, and I won’t have much free time, but I will try my best to keep this updated once a day. I also don’t know how great the wifi on the cruise ship will be, so if the internet connection isn’t good, then I may not be able to keep this updated. We will see how this all plays out when the time comes. However, even if I can’t post while I’m in Europe, I will still be documenting my entire trip, and I plan on posting all about it when I get back to Los Angeles, if it comes down to that.

As I mentioned earlier, I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity, and I really look forward to documenting my trip. Thank you all for reading, and I hope to keep you updated as regularly as possible while I’m overseas.
