Very sorry for your experience. I went during the rain, the steps were free of people, but leaches around. At a time when reached it was windy, foggy and we were frozen. A monk or a guard in the temple let us in his house, gave some tea. It was so kind. Any way the journey on the top should be uncomfortable, so I was able to enjoy in the mist the surrounding, nature and climbing so to say.
